Note: Do not use this filter kit on the suction side between the hydraulic fluid reservoir and the pump inlet port.

This hydraulic fluid filter kit is ideally suited for log splitters with an 8-gallon fluid tank and 13 to 16 GPM hydraulic pumps. It is provided with the RS-300, RS-400, and RS-500 log splitters from RuggedMade.
Features include 25 micron filtration, 20 GPM flow rate, and 3/4" NPT(F) inlet and outlet ports.
When installing, note the flow direction marked on the filter head. Installing it in the wrong direction will damage the filter head bypass and filter element.
This filter head is recommended for use on the return line only. Installing this kit between the pump and the hydraulic fluid reservoir may restrict flow and cause cavitation in the pump.
